2012 Washington State VA Loan Limits

Veterans and Active Duty Military Personnel are able to purchase homes in Washington State with zero money down up to $417K in many parts of the State.   In higher cost areas of Washington, the VA allows loan amounts much higher than the old VA limits.  Some examples in King County, Washington are Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Issaquah, Kent, Auburn, Burien, Des Moines, Snoqualmie, North Bend, Sammamish, Shoreline, and Woodinville may qualify for a 100% VA Jumbo loan up to $458,850. Pierce County cities including Tacoma, Federal Way, Bonney Lake, Puyallup, Port Orchard, Spanaway, Roy, Sumner and Fife can borrow up to $458,850 with no money down when buying a house. Snohomish County Vets buying a home in Everett, Bothell, Mill Creek, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Marysville, Snohomish, Monroe, Mukilteo, and Lake Stevens Vets qualify up to $458,850 for a 100% VA Loan as well.

All other Washington Counties have a VA Loan Limit in 2012 of $417,000.  This includes Washington counties:  Adams, Asotin, Benton, Chelan, Clallam, Clark, Columbia, Cowlitz, Douglas, Ferry, Franklin, Garfield, Grant, Grays Harbor, Island, Jefferson, Kitsap, Kittitas, Klickitat, Lewis, Lincoln, Mason, Okanogan, Pacific, Pend Oreille, Skagit, Skamania, Spokane, Stevens, Thurston, Wahkiakum, Walla Walla, Whatcom, Whitman and Yakima.
